Miss Brizz, our new addition,
is a custom built, 62 foot aluminum yacht that was completed
in 2003. She is built to Alaskan commercial fishing boat standards.
The builder is well known among Alaska's Commercial Fishermen.
The Peregrine Boat hull can be seen throughout the state being
used by fishermen who work their boats hard in very unforgiving
waters. With a beautiful teak interior and many of the amenities
you would find on much larger vessels, Miss Brizz transports
her clients in safety and luxury.
The hull was designed with
a sharp bow to cut the water, and a wide, nineteen-foot beam
for a stable ride and spacious interior. Miss Brizz is powered
by twin Lugger 6140’s rated at 700 HP each. These commercial
engines with 1400 HP, will push the boat at a 10 knot cruising
speed. Electrical power is supplied by two 25KW Northern Lights
Generators with sound shields. These heavy duty generators allow
for many of the amenities only seen on much larger yachts
including a full galley with household appliances, jacuzzi
tub, two deep freeze freezers (great for processing fish!), commercial ice maker, 220v
heat, 80 gallon electric water heater, 1200 GPD 220V water
maker, plasma TV, VCR, DVD, stereos, commercial vacuum packer,
ice-maker, washer/dryer and much more. With a 1400 gallon
water tank, 1200 GPD water maker, and 80 gallon electric water
heater, you can enjoy long, hot showers or a jacuzzi tub at
the end of your day.
There are three staterooms
for your comfort. The master bedroom has a queen size bed,
two portlights, plenty of storage and a master bath with a
jacuzzi tub and portlight. The VIP berth has a queen size
bed, portlight and storage. There is an adjoinging bathroom
with a large shower that is shared with the third guest stateroom
containing twin size bunk beds, portlight and a closet. Each
stateroom and the hallway have headroom of over 6'5"
and are fully carpeted. There is also a crew’s quarters
downstairs with a single bed.
The main deck has a spacious
salon with a leather couch and reclining leather chair, plasma
TV, VCR, DVD, stereo, CD player and a bathroom with a shower.
Forward of the salon is a full size galley with full size,
stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator/freezer,
range/oven, microwave, dishwasher and trash compactor. Up
the forward stairs brings you to the pilot house with captain’s
chair, a setee that seats four, pilot’s bunk and a full
suite of electronics. There’s a staircase that leads
to the upper deck which has an inflatable 3.8 meter (13 ft.)
NAIAD with a Honda 25 HP 4 stroke.
The back deck is exceptionally
roomy - over 320 square feet - complete with a fish cleaning
station with hot and cold water, fish hold, six electric downriggers,
and a couch for lounging. An awning also extends out halfway
over the back deck to keep you dry and comfortable should
the weather turn a little inclement. There are large stairs
off the back deck to allow for easy and safe access on and
off the boat.
Miss Brizz is also a 5 Star
Vessel - the highest rating available under the U.S. Coast
Guard's Seventeenth District Alaska Uninspected Passenger
Vessel Voluntary 5 Star Safety Program. A 1 Star vessel complies
with existing regulations, while a 5 Star vessel carries safety
equipment substantially in excess of U.S. Coast Guard regulations.
